Qualifications & Requirements

To teach in a primary school, you’ll typically need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Gained through PGCE, BEd, or School Direct routes.

GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science (or equivalent).

A relevant degree (for PGCE routes).

An Enhanced DBS Check (we can assist with this!).
